Elizabeth Ward, a close portrait in black and white

A life well lived.
A story still being written.

I didn't build Be Your Best Self Now because I had life figured out. I built it because I didn't. Because there came a season when everything I thought I knew about myself, my strength, my faith, and my future was tested. And in that season, I learned something I now believe with my whole heart.

You aren't starting over. You're becoming.

before the titles

There was simply me

Before I was a speaker, a leader, or a coach, I was a daughter, a sister, a mother. Family has always been the center of my world. The dinners, the school mornings, the little hands in mine. Long before any stage or any title, that was the life I was building, and it is still the life that matters most.

Everything I teach today about balance, about presence, about protecting what matters, I learned first at home. Motherhood taught me more about leadership than any boardroom ever could.

I built a life I was proud of

For more than three decades I have led in homebuilding sales. I have walked the walk and talked the talk. I built teams, broke records, and helped grow a division from a handful of agents into one of the strongest in the country. I stood on stages. I earned the titles. By every outside measure, I had made it.

And I am proud of that life. I still love the work, the people, and the wins. But somewhere along the way I learned the difference between success and fulfillment. Success is what the world can see. Fulfillment is what your soul knows when the room goes quiet.

For a long time, I had one without the other.

then

Life changed

Loss came to our family in waves. In a span of little more than a year, I lost my brother, and then my mother, after her long fifteen year battle with Alzheimer's. Grief has a way of stripping away everything that isn't real. The titles don't hold you at two in the morning. The awards don't answer the questions your heart is asking.

I found myself kneeling in the sand of my own life, tracing what remained, trying to find the way forward.

This photograph is exactly as it was taken. I have never touched it, and I never will. It marks the turning point. The moment I stopped chasing and started listening.

He was there

God was in the details

In the hardest season of my life, I began to notice something. Small signs. Perfect timing. A verse that found me on the exact morning I needed it. A stranger's word that answered a prayer I hadn't spoken out loud. I started calling them God Winks, those unmistakable moments when God shows up with clarity and reminds you that you are seen, you are held, and you are not walking alone.

I collect them now. And I invite the women in this community to share theirs, because one woman's God Wink has a way of becoming another woman's lifeline.

Healing didn't ask me to become someone new. It asked me to come back. Back to the woman who was there before the calendar filled up, before the roles took over, before grief moved in. I found her again in quiet places. In prayer. In stillness. In the mountains, by the water, in the breath I had been too busy to take.

That journey became The Way Back to Me, and it is now the heart of everything I do with women. Not fixing you. Finding you.

Love, rediscovered

When you find your way back to yourself, something beautiful happens. You can find your way back to your people. The relationships that matter aren't meant to be replaced when they grow quiet. They are meant to be rediscovered. Real conversation. Real laughter. Choosing each other again, on purpose.

Every path led here

The deeper I went, the clearer it became. Every step of this journey was leading to the same place.

Back to yourself. Back to each other. Back to Him.

Faith is not the last chapter of my story. It is the thread running through every one of them. Like stones stacked in a creek, each season of my life was balanced on the one beneath it, and underneath them all, He was the rock.

and then I understood

Passion is not a luxury.
It's a strategy.

For years I treated passion like a reward, something I would get to after the work was done. I had it backwards. Passion is the fuel. It is the strategy. When I finally gave myself permission to pour into what set my soul on fire, Be Your Best Self Now was born.

Not as a business. As an answer. To every woman who has ever built a good life and still wondered why it didn't feel like hers.

the heart of it

Why Be Your Best Self Now exists

This is not a place about perfection. You will find no pressure here to be more, do more, or prove more. This is a soft place for every woman to land, in any season. A place to breathe, to pray, to laugh, to grow, and to remember who you are.

Mind. Body. Relationships. Purpose. Faith.

One woman. One whole life. Healed on the same track.

Your story is not finished.

Becoming doesn't have an age limit.

Take what you need from this place. Take the rest. Take the prayer. Take the laughter. Take the reminder that you were never behind, never too late, and never too much. This journey isn't mine.

It's ours.

Be Your Best Self. Now.
